Michael is the current chair of Pirton Community Choir — which basically means he tries to keep the rest of the committee in line so the choir doesn't descend into chaos, and make sure everything runs smoothly so we can focus on the singing.
Musical Director:

Heather is our accomplished and highly motivational music director, who uses her huge depth of musical experience and enthusiasm to try and keep us in time and in tune.
Treasurer:
Marc de Salis

Marc is the current treasurer and is responsible for paying all the bills and keeping the accounts positive, which sometimes means hassling certain delinquent members of the choir for their subscriptions.
Secretary:
John Flynn

John is the secretary of the choir committee which means he has to do whatever the chairman tells him as accurately and efficiently as possible and without complaining, and to write it all down, which is a bit challenging given how most of the committee meetings descend into barely controlled mayhem.
Librarian:
Maxine Shearer

Maxine is our music librarian and is responsible for ensuring we all have copies of the sheet music for whatever it is we're singing. She's highly organised, and tries her best to instil similar self-discipline in the choir, so woe betide those who return their music sheets stapled and in the wrong order!
Publicity & Membership:
Beryl Whiting

Beryl is our publicity and membership secretary who is responsible for publicising our performances and generally raising the profile of the choir within the local community. She can often be seen 'gathering material', smartphone in hand! She also administers our Facebook group.
Funding & Social:
Kate Wyatt

Kate is our funding and social officer who has been very influential over the last year in securing a large grant from North Herts County Council enabling us to buy a new piano! When the pressure of raising funds gets the better of her, she will resort to organising another social event to allow the choir to let off some steam! She also maintains our Instagram pages.
Webmaster:

Apart from his responsibilities as secretary, John is also in charge of maintaining the choir website, so if anything on it doesn't work properly, it's his fault!
